YTS Storage System and NanJing Ouman Automation are pleased to share our participation in MALT 2026, where we had the opportunity to meet industry partners, exchange ideas, and explore the latest developments in smart warehousing, industrial automation, and intelligent storage solutions.
During the event, we had productive discussions with industry professionals and technology partners on the evolving needs of modern warehouses. The conversations covered a range of new industrial technologies and automation solutions designed to improve warehouse efficiency, storage density, operational flexibility, and overall material handling performance.
One of the key areas of discussion was the development of smart automated warehousing systems, including the integration of automation, intelligent storage management, and material handling technologies.
As businesses face increasing demands for higher storage capacity, faster inventory movement, and better space utilisation, automated warehouse solutions are becoming an important part of modern logistics and supply chain operations.
We also had the opportunity to discuss 4-way shuttle and 2-way shuttle racking storage systems, including their applications and advantages for different warehouse environments.
4-Way Shuttle Racking Systems offer greater flexibility by allowing shuttle movement in multiple directions, making them particularly suitable for high-density storage applications where efficient space utilisation and operational flexibility are important.
2-Way Shuttle Racking Systems provide an efficient automated storage solution for high-density pallet storage, helping to reduce forklift movements while improving storage and retrieval efficiency.
Through these discussions, we shared valuable insights into how different shuttle racking configurations can be matched with warehouse requirements such as storage capacity, pallet throughput, warehouse layout, product characteristics, and automation level.
